For The Tempest, I developed a social media campaign that blended cinematic promotional photography with candid behind-the-scenes content to immerse audiences in Shakespeare’s storm. Using a rich palette of purples, teals, and shimmering textures, the visuals echoed the production’s mystical, oceanic world. Posts ranged from character spotlights and rehearsal sneak peeks to hair and makeup moments and set design reveals, giving followers both polish and authenticity. This cohesive approach built anticipation, strengthened the production’s visual brand, and boosted audience engagement leading up to opening night.

see it! This also made the production
feel more authentic and enticing
for college students to come see.

For this production we did a promotional photoshoot in costume with our Prospera, Ferdinand, and Miranda. I utilized photoshop to edit the photo and make it match our promotional material aesthetic and show vibe. Also included the show logo and dates on top of the graphic. ABOUT THe show
A raging storm at sea sets the stage for magic, revenge, and redemption in Shakespeare’s The Tempest. On a remote, enchanted island, the exiled Duchess Prospera, once overthrown by her own brother, uses her command of the elements to shipwreck her enemies on her shores. With her devoted daughter Miranda, the airy spirit Ariel, and the rebellious islander Caliban, Prospera orchestrates a master plan to restore her rightful place in the world. Amidst mistaken identities, supernatural illusions, and a budding romance between Miranda and the castaway Ferdinand, alliances shift and truths come to light. By journey’s end, Prospera must choose between vengeance and forgiveness, making The Tempest a timeless tale of power, love, and the transformative magic of mercy.
