ABOUT ME

I am a director, producer, marketer, and theatre-maker with a passion for creating bold, visually striking productions that captivate audiences of all ages. A graduate of Wake Forest University with degrees in Theatre, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship, I thrive at the intersection of art and strategy, bringing ambitious visions to life with both creative flair and data-driven precision.

Originally from the Twin Cities area in Minnesota, I have spent years directing, designing, and producing theatre that sparks imagination and wonder. Whether crafting large-scale musicals, immersive experiences, or productions that challenge audiences to see the world differently, I am driven by the power of storytelling and spectacle. I believe in building productions as both artistic experiences and compelling brands, connecting with audiences before they even step into the theatre.

From directing family favorites like Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast to producing The 24 Hour Musical Project, I understand how to create not only unforgettable performances but also marketing campaigns that drive engagement and ticket sales. My background in social media management, graphic design, and photography allows me to shape a production’s visual identity, create cohesive campaigns, and harness both digital trends and timeless promotional tactics to reach diverse audiences.

Zac Anderson is NOT in the business of small. Whether it is a stage production, a marketing strategy, or a community event, I bring a high-energy, collaborative approach to every project, ensuring the final product is as dynamic and exhilarating as the people who create it.

In my freetime, I enjoy skiing, pickleball, mini golf, trying new flights at breweries, and spending time with my yellow lab Harry.
